37 Weeks!

That's right folks!  I am 37 weeks this week which means I am considered FULL TERM!  I can't believe that I am only a couple weeks away from my due date.  Ricky and I are so excited to meet little Newty!  I went in for my weekly doctors appointment yesterday and all is looking good.  There has been some concern over the size of the baby as my belly has been measuring a bit small.  My doctor has sent me in for a couple of extra ultrasounds just to be cautious.  As it stands right now, Baby Newty is on the small side but nothing that there needs to be any worry about.  My doctor thinks he/she will just be a small baby.  He did say that Newty has long arms and legs though!  :)

I am still feeling great.  I feel so blessed to have had such a wonderful and easy pregnancy.  I think there will be a part of me that will actually miss being pregnant.  It is so much fun to feel the baby moving around and kicking and to know that there is an actual person growing in there.  It really is an amazing thing!  The nesting started a couple of weeks ago and I have been running around the house trying to get everything organized.  It really is funny how you feel this sudden urge to reorganize and redecorate everything!   I have had a couple of meltdowns feeling like I have to have everything done and organized before the baby gets here.  My wonderful husband has been such a support and so gracious to remind me that he is there to help and we will get done what needs to be done.  He also keeps reminding me to rest to preserve my strength and because there will be little resting around here once baby comes!

This past Sunday, Ricky, Coda and I went down to Laguna Beach for a Mother's Day walk and lunch.  It was a beautiful day and we had a wonderful little family outing.  I am posting some pics of our trip plus my 37 week belly.  We will continue to keep you posted as we prepare for the arrival of Baby Newty!
