OC Fair 2009

Ricky, William, and I took a family outing to the Orange County Fair.  We had a great time eating yummy (and wonderfully greasy) fair food and showing William all the animals (goats, pigs, oxen, cows, donkeys, to name a few).  I love the fair!

This is chocolate covered bacon AND churros not chocolate covered bacon churros.  

That would be gross!

Lodi!

My sister Ruth and Auntie Lisa were kind enough to throw William and me a baby shower in Lodi.  It was William's first trip to Lodi and we had a wonderful weekend.  He got to meet his Great Grandma Mitzi and both Great Grandpas (my Grandfather and Ricky's).  Thank you Ruth and Lisa for a fun shower!

I love this picture.  Auntie Ruth and Uncle Nate wanted to get a picture of them with both of their nephews (William and Wyatt, Nate's sister Katie's son).  The nephews had had a long day and were not cooperating.  This was the result.  :)

The Many Faces of William

Family Visit & William's first 4th of July

Ricky's family came from Oregon for a 5 day visit and William got to meet his Grandpa Glen, Auntie Mallory, Uncle Chris, and his cousin Audrey for the first time.  This was also Ricky and my first time meeting Audrey and she is the sweetest little girl!  We had a great time with them and were sad to see everyone leave.  William also celebrated his first 4th of July.  He had a couple of special outfits which his Grandma Becky bought him and he sported each that day.  We went down to Corona del Mar in the morning (along with the rest of Southern California) and walked around.  It was a gorgeous day and a gorgeous view.  William had his first experience in his stroller and he did great!  My son LOVES to be held so I was not sure how it would go.  He seemed to like it and fell asleep.  :)  After, we spent some time at the hotel pool where Audrey had her first experience in the pool.  Then everyone gathered back at our home for a barbecue and fireworks which we watched on our back porch.  Here are some pics from the weekend.  Hope everyone had a Happy 4th!
