5 months old

These pictures were taken on William's 5 month birthday.  He has changed so much!  He has found his voice and is extremely vocal, always telling us stories!  :)  William is very active and is constantly moving, kicking, and rolling.  Ricky and I think we are going to have our hands full when he becomes mobile!  William also enjoys grabbing for everything and is very curious.  It is so much fun to see him discover the world around him.  He loves to hang out in his swing (which also allows Mommy and Daddy to eat a meal in peace!), play with his favorite rattle, read and eat his books, and put pretty much anything and everything in his mouth.  Bathtime is also a favorite for him and he has started kicking his legs while in the water, splashing it everywhere.  It creates a mess but I find it pretty amusing and he thinks it is hilarious.  Seeing his big gummy smiles and hearing his coos is the best part of our day and he continues to be such a joy.  We are extremely blessed to be his parents and are enjoying every minute we get to spend with this precious boy.

Halloween!

Sorry these are a little late!  We went over the Mallory and Chris's for Halloween and had a wonderful dinner and a fun night passing out candy to all the neighbor kids.  My Mom and Dad happened to be in town that weekend as well so they were able to see William all dressed up for his first Halloween.  Here are some pictures from our night.

Potato Festival

A few weeks ago William and I (along with Auntie Mallory, Uncle Chris, Cousin Audrey, Grandma Beth, and Grandpa Glen) went up to Merrill for their annual Potato Festival.  Ricky's Grandpa Jim was chosen as this year's Grand Marshall of the Potato Festival Parade so we went down to support and cheer him on!  Unfortunately, Ricky was not able to join us as he was in Montana playing drums at a youth group conference there.  We missed him but had a fun weekend visiting with Ricky's family and William got to meet some of his Great Aunt and Uncles for the first time.   We also got to see where Ricky was born and spent the first few years of his life.  :)

Good morning cousin!

On our way to the parade (running late of course!)
