Fall in Central Oregon

It is so exciting to be living in a place with seasons again! Don't get me wrong, Southern California has great weather. It is just nice to have Fall feel like Fall and not have 90 degree weather around Thanksgiving! This last weekend was beautiful so we decided to get out and enjoy it. I have learned that when you have a day with nice weather during the colder months, you take advantage of it because the very next day it could be snowing!

At first William was not too sure of what he was supposed to do. It's a good thing his cousin Audrey was there to show him how it was done.

He soon got the hang of it!

Halloween!

We had such a fun Halloween! Daddy wanted William to either be a pirate or a fireman and Mommy was lucky enough to find a little pirate costume at a second hand store for just $6.99. Add a bandana, a 79 cent eye patch (thank you Joanne and your amazing sales!), and a cute little drawn on mustache, and voila! The cutest little pirate there ever was. :)

On Saturday night we went to Auntie Mallory and Uncle Chris's church for their "Trunk or Treat." One of the cars was decorated as a pirate ship so we had to get a picture in it! After all, every pirate needs a ship!

On Sunday evening we had dinner at Grandma and Grandpa's and then we took the babies out trick-or-treating. William had such a fun time! He would walk up to the doors and knock on them. Then he would take the offered candy and would try and walk into a their house. :) He was having the time of his life and we had fun watching him.

Once we got back to Grandma's house, Daddy insisted that William should get enjoy the fruits of his labor. Mommy gave in to the peer pressure and William got to enjoy his first piece of chocolate. Of course he loved it and was asking for more! (He knows the sign for "please" and will go around doing it for whatever he wants. At least he's polite about it!)

It was a fun night and we had a tired little pirate at the end of it. Happy Halloween!
