William's First Trip to the Barber Shop

A before shot on our way to the Barber Shop!

Here we are!

Sitting in the horsy chair (and yes that is a lollipop in his hand).

Bye-bye long baby hair. Don't worry, I saved one of the curls. :)

Mid-cut. There were no tears and he sat pretty still.
The Barber even commented on how good he was!

All done! Such a big boy! Where did my baby go?

Our Little Organizer

William LOVES to organize his toys! It will keep him busy for quite awhile. He will take all of his little farm animals and put them in a row (he does this with a few other things as well, notice the boots in the pictures). He does this on the couch, on the stairs, on Mommy's stomach, anywhere he can. If one falls over, he cries out "Uh-Oh!" or "Oh No!" until it is lined up again. It is so fun to watch! Lately we've been counting them as we line them up. Haven't quite mastered that one yet but we're getting there!

They have to be just perfect (wonder where he gets that from).

This one should be over here...

...I think the cow should go over here...

...almost done...

...perfect!

Unexpected Visitor

Look who wandered into our yard yesterday for an afternoon snack. Scared me half to death when I came around the corner and saw him staring at me from right outside the window! He stayed for about 45 minutes just wandering around our yard and eating whatever grass and weeds were not covered with snow. I love that I live in a place where deer visit us on occasion. What an awesome thing!

Fall in Central Oregon

It is so exciting to be living in a place with seasons again! Don't get me wrong, Southern California has great weather. It is just nice to have Fall feel like Fall and not have 90 degree weather around Thanksgiving! This last weekend was beautiful so we decided to get out and enjoy it. I have learned that when you have a day with nice weather during the colder months, you take advantage of it because the very next day it could be snowing!

At first William was not too sure of what he was supposed to do. It's a good thing his cousin Audrey was there to show him how it was done.

He soon got the hang of it!
