We gave William a bath this morning and it was the first time he did not scream the entire way through! We wrapped him up in his little froggy towel after and he looked so cute I just had to share.

Our 4 week old!
William is 4 weeks! I can't believe how fast the time goes. If this keeps up he is going to be graduating from high school before we know it! He continues to be our little joy and it is so fun to see him discovering and adjusting to the world around him. Here are some pics from the last couple of weeks including Father's Day and his first play date with his friend Finn.
Happy Father's Day (notice the "I Love Daddy" sleeper)!
William's first play date with buddy Finn.
William does not like to be put down. I love the progression of these photos.
Pay attention to the look on Finn's face. :)

Sir William
William is now 2 1/2 weeks old and we are having fun getting to know this little person. He had his first pediatrician appointment this past Friday and he is now 7 pounds 3 ounces and 20 inches long which means he has gained his birth weight back plus some and grown a half an inch! He is growing up before my eyes! :) Here are some more pictures of our precious boy. Enjoy!

Welcome William Emerson Newton!
Sorry it has taken me so long to post this! I have had a little bit of a distraction. :) Baby Newty has arrived! William Emerson Newton was born May 29 at 12:45 pm. He was 6 lbs., 11 oz. and 19 1/2 inches long. As my doctor suspected, he has long arms and legs as well as extremely long fingers and big feet!
Contractions started on Thursday evening and we went into the hospital around 11:00 pm. It was a long night but all worth it when I was able to hold my little son. It was such an amazing moment when they handed little William to me for the first time. The look on Ricky's face when we saw that it was a boy was priceless. He was so very excited. It was a wonderful moment for both of us.
We had a wonderful experience at St. Josephs Hospital. One of my concerns was that my doctor would not be the one to deliver me but it worked out that he was on call that day. I am in love with my OB, Dr. Linzey and so is Ricky. We felt like we were in such good hands between him and the nurses. Dr. Linzey prayed with me for the baby before the delivery which is one of the many reasons I appreciate him so much. I am actually sad that I will not be seeing him every month anymore. :)
This first week with William has been totally surreal. It is still crazy to think that he is actually MY baby and I get to keep him. He is such a little love and a sweet boy. Ricky and I are pretty tired, but are enjoying being parents. Here are some pics of our first week together.
Uncle Nate and Auntie Ruth!
Our new little family.
